Are manta ray sightings guaranteed?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who says otherwise. Sightings on morning charters are frequent, but they remain wild animals. Captains check conditions and position boats accordingly.
Can we go ashore on Nusa Penida during the charter?
A short beach landing at Crystal Bay is straightforward and worth doing. Full land circuits involving the Kelingking viewpoint, Angel’s Billabong and Broken Beach require several hours by car, which fits poorly within a boat day.
Is the charter suitable for children and non-swimmers?
Yes, with the right hull. Life jackets in all sizes are carried; Crystal Bay and Gamat Bay offer shallow, sheltered entries; the crew briefs all guests before the first swim stop.
What happens if the weather turns?
The captain has the final word on safety, and we back that word without exception. Unsafe conditions result in rescheduling to the next available day or a full deposit refund.
Can we charter for a sunset cruise instead of a full day?
Yes. Shorter evening sailings run out of Benoa. Half-day Nusa Penida crossings are available on faster hulls, though the full-day format is recommended for manta experiences.
